What is Car-B-Pen Ta/chlor-Tan Used For? This combination cough suppressant/antihistamine medication is used to treat a cough due to the common cold, asthma, or bronchitis.

How To Use Car-B-Pen Ta/chlor-Tan
Take Car-B-Pen Ta/chlor-Tan by mouth usually twice daily as needed; or as directed by your doctor. Unless otherwise directed, drink plenty of clear fluids when you use Car-B-Pen Ta/chlor-Tan. The fluid will help to loosen phlegm/mucus in your breathing passages.

Car-B-Pen Ta/chlor-Tan Side Effects
Drowsiness, nausea, and dry mouth and nose may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your doctor. An allergic reaction to Car-B-Pen Ta/chlor-Tan is unlikely, but seek immediate medical attention if it occurs. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include: rash, itching, swelling, dizziness, trouble breathing. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
