Give Daunoxome by injection into a vein (IV), generally over 60 minutes, every two weeks or as directed by the doctor. The length of treatment depends on your condition and response to therapy. Do not inject Daunoxome into the muscle (IM) or just beneath the skin (subcutaneously). Closely monitor for redness, pain and swelling at or around the injection site (see SIDE EFFECTS). Daunoxome should be checked visually for particles before use. If present, do not use the liquid.

Daunoxome may make you dizzy or drowsy; use caution engaging in activities requiring alertness such as driving or using machinery. Do not have immunizations/vaccinations without the consent of your doctor and avoid contact with people who have recently received oral polio vaccine. Use caution with sharp objects like safety razors or nail cutters and avoid activities such as contact sports to lower the chance of getting cut, bruised or injured.
