How To Use Flor-Dac
Take as directed. Food may affect the absorption of certain vitamin products. Also, fluoride absorption may be decreased with food/dairy products high in calcium. Consult your pharmacist for more details about taking this with food. Chewable tablets are to be chewed thoroughly before swallowing. The fluoride in this chewable tablet can be absorbed directly into the teeth during and after chewing, as well as being absorbed into your system after you swallow it. Therefore, it is best not to eat, drink, or rinse your mouth for 30 minutes after taking this. Calcium (including milk and dairy products), aluminum, and magnesium-containing products (e.g., certain antacids or laxatives) can decrease the absorption of fluoride, thereby decreasing its effectiveness. Take Flor-Dac several hours apart from such products/foods.
