What is Gfn 595/pse 48 Tab Used For? Guaifenesin is an expectorant used to help clear mucous and congestion. Pseudoephedrine is a decongestant which helps relieve nasal congestion. This combination medication is used to treat symptoms associated with a cold, allergies or respiratory tract illness.

How To Use Gfn 595/pse 48 Tab
Take Gfn 595/pse 48 Tab by mouth. It should be swallowed whole. Do not crush or chew the medication. If stomach upset occurs, this may be taken with food or milk. Take Gfn 595/pse 48 Tab as directed. Do not increase the dose or take it more often or longer than prescribed. It is recommended to drink plenty of fluids (6-8 glasses a day) to help relieve congestion.

Gfn 595/pse 48 Tab Side Effects
Nausea, stomach upset, loss of appetite, nervousness, dizziness, or headache may occur the first several days as your body adjusts to the medication. If these effects continue or become bothersome, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: chest pain, a rapid heart rate, anxiety, fear, difficulty urinating (men only), difficulty sleeping. Because Gfn 595/pse 48 Tab may cause dizziness, use caution performing tasks requiring alertness and avoid consuming alcohol which can aggravate this effect. Tell your doctor if you have: pre-existing heart disease, kidney disease, liver disease, lung disease, emphysema, high blood pressure, overactive thyroid, diabetes mellitus, glaucoma, difficulty urinating, an enlarged prostate, history of seizures.
