How To Use Bactroban
Clean and dry the affected area before applying the medication. To apply, gently massage a small amount of the medication into the affected area and surrounding skin three times daily or as directed by your doctor. Cover with a loose fitting bandage if desired. Continue to use the medication as prescribed for the full time prescribed. Stopping therapy too early can result in a re- infection. If no improvement is seen in 3 to 5 days, consult your doctor. Another medication may be necessary. Avoid using Bactroban around the eyes, nose, mouth, or on large areas of damaged or broken skin unless directed otherwise by your doctor.

Bactroban Side Effects
Bactroban may cause burning, stinging or itching when first applied to the skin. This should disappear in a few days as your body adjusts to the medication. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.
