What is Lice Cream Rinse Used For? This rinse is used for the single-application treatment of head lice. A single follow-up application may be given in 7 days if live lice are still present.

How To Use Lice Cream Rinse
Use after the hair has been washed with regular shampoo, rinsed completely with water and towel dried. Apply an amount sufficient to saturate the hair and scalp (especially behind the ears and on the neck). This should be left on for 10 minutes (no more, no less), then rinsed off completely with water.

Lice Cream Rinse Side Effects
Itching, tingling, numbness, redness or irritation may occur. If these effects continue, inform your doctor. Notify your doctor if you develop: skin rash, burning or swelling of the skin. If you notice other effects not listed above, contact your doctor or pharmacist.

Lice Cream Rinse Precautions
Tell your doctor if you have: other illnesses, allergies. Lice Cream Rinse should be used only if clearly needed during pregnancy. Discuss the risks and benefits with your doctor. It is not known if Lice Cream Rinse appears in breast milk. Consult your doctor before breast-feeding.

If overdose is suspected, contact your local poison control center or emergency room immediately. Lice Cream Rinse may be harmful if swallowed. Symptoms of overdose may include dizziness, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, headache, weakness, seizures, and loss of consciousness.

Missed Lice Cream Rinse Dose
Apply Lice Cream Rinse as soon as possible after it is prescribed. Use only the amount prescribed.

Lice Cream Rinse Storage
Store at room temperature between 59 and 86 degrees F (15 and 30 degrees C) away from heat and light. Do not store in the bathroom.
