...high surf advisory now in effect until 6 pm hst monday...
surf along south facing shores will be 6 to 10 feet through early
monday...decreasing to 5 to 8 feet monday afternoon.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
a high surf advisory means that high surf will affect beaches in
the advisory area...producing large breaking waves...dangerous
rip currents and localized beach erosion.
