the flood warning continues for
the kankakee river at shelby.
* at 745 pm monday the stage was 9.8 feet and steady.
* flood stage is 9.0 feet.
* minor flooding is occurring.
* forecast...water levels will remain near steady...then begin a
very slow fall tuesday night. the river will remain above flood
stage until this weekend.
* impact...at 10.0 feet...flooding affects county and local roads.
wildwood estates and sumava resorts begin to experience some
flooding.
