a coastal flood advisory remains in effect until 2 am edt
wednesday.

at ocean city inlet...the evenings high high tide occurred at 815
pm edt. the water level referenced to mean lower low water peaked
with an anomaly of around 2 feet above normal. minor flooding at
ocean city inlet begins at 4.0 feet mllw. the following high tide
cycle monday morning is expected to reach a similar value. high
tide cycles monday evening and tuesday morning are currently
forecast to reach 5.0 ft mllw. moderate flooding at ocean city
inlet begins at 5.0 ft mllw.

at wachapreague...the evening high tide will occur at 915 pm edt.
the water level referenced to mean lower low water peaked
with an anomaly of around 2 feet above normal. high tides monday
morning and monday evening are expected to reach similar values or
slightly less. high tides tuesday morning and tuesday morning and
late tuesday evening are currently forecast to reach 7.0 feet
mllw. minor flooding at wachapreague begins at 6.5 feet mllw.

precautionary/preparedness actions...

a coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
