* moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.

tuesday morning then begin falling.
* impact...at 20.0 feet...the clat adams bicentennial park, just north
of the memorial bridge, begins flooding.
* impact...at 19.0 feet...quincy parks, including all america, sid
simpson, and bobbangert parks north of broadway, begin flooding.

* until further notice.
* at 10:00 am saturday the stage was 19.2 feet.
* flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* forecast...the river will continue rising to near 19.9 feet by
early wednesday morning then begin falling.
* impact...at 19.0 feet...the corps of engineers begins flood fight
proceedures. at this level, preparations are made to install two
flood gates at hill street and center street if the forecast
exceeds 20.5 feet.

...winter weather advisory now in effect from 7 am this morning
to 1 pm cdt sunday...

the winter weather advisory for snow and sleet is now in effect
from 7 am this morning to 1 pm cdt sunday.

* snow will move into portions of northeast missouri this morning.
the snow will mix with sleet at times today and gradually
transition to a mix of rain...snow and sleet this evening and
into sunday morning. the mix of snow and sleet is expected to
change over to all rain by noon sunday.

* snow accumulations 2 to 5 inches primarily along and west of a
quincy-paris line...with the greatest accumulations in the
shelbina and paris areas.

* road conditions will deteriorate this morning as the snow begins
to accumulate.

a winter weather advisory is issued for a variety of winter
weather conditions...such as snow...blowing snow...sleet...or
freezing drizzle and rain. it only takes a small amount of wintry
precipitation to make roads...bridges...sidewalks...and parking
