the flood warning continues for the mississippi river at quincy * until further notice. * at 10:00 am saturday the stage was 18.9 feet. * flood stage is 17.0 feet. * moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * forecast...the river will continue rising to near 19.6 feet by tuesday morning then begin falling. * impact...at 20.0 feet...the clat adams bicentennial park, just north of the memorial bridge, begins flooding. * impact...at 19.0 feet...quincy parks, including all america, sid simpson, and bobbangert parks north of broadway, begin flooding.

...winter weather advisory now in effect from 7 am this morning to 1 pm cdt sunday...
the winter weather advisory for snow and sleet is now in effect from 7 am this morning to 1 pm cdt sunday.
* snow will move into portions of northeast missouri this morning. the snow will mix with sleet at times today and gradually transition to a mix of rain...snow and sleet this evening and into sunday morning. the mix of snow and sleet is expected to change over to all rain by noon sunday.
* snow accumulations 2 to 5 inches primarily along and west of a quincy-paris line...with the greatest accumulations in the shelbina and paris areas.
* road conditions will deteriorate this morning as the snow begins to accumulate.
