.moist upslope flow behind the cold frontal passage yesterday will result in continued accumulating snow across portions of southeast wyoming and the western nebraska panhandle. northeast winds of 10 to 25 mph will create areas of blowing and drifting snow as well.

the national weather service in cheyenne has issued a winter weather advisory for snow and blowing snow...which is in effect until 3 pm mdt this afternoon. the winter storm warning has been cancelled.
* timing...through 3 pm this afternoon.
* total snow accumulations...additional 1 to 2 inches with total snow accumulations of 4 to 6 inches.
* winds/visibilities...northeast winds 10 to 20 mph with higher gusts. visibilities will frequently be less than one half mile in falling and blowing snow.
* impacts...hazardous driving conditions can be expected through this afternoon due to falling and blowing snow.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
a winter weather advisory for snow means that periods of snow will cause primarily travel difficulties. be prepared for snow covered roads and limited visibilities...and use caution while driving. those with young livestock should take necessary precautions early this morning.
