the raritan river at manville.
* until this afternoon...or until the warning is cancelled.
* at 4:15 am monday the stage was 14.9 feet.
* flood stage is 14.0 feet.
* minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
afternoon.
* impact...at 15.0 feet...dukes parkway begins to flood in manville

* until this evening...or until the warning is cancelled.
* at 4:30 am monday the stage was 30.3 feet.
* flood stage is 28.0 feet.
* moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* forecast...the river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
evening.
* impact...at 30.5 feet...at this level main street in the town of bound
brook begins to flood

coastal flood advisory now in effect until noon edt tuesday...
the coastal flood advisory is now in effect until noon edt
tuesday.
high tides will occur between 8:00 am and 10:00 am this morning
on the oceanfront and between 10:00 am and noon on delaware bay and
the back bays. the next high tides will occur between 8:00 pm and
10:00 pm tonight on the oceanfront and between about 10:00 pm and
midnight on delaware bay and the back bays. the tuesday morning
high tide occurs between about 8:00 am and 10:00 am. minor tidal
flooding can be expected around the times of high tide through
tuesday morning with the continued high water levels.
precautionary/preparedness actions...
a coastal flood advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
