skies will remain clear through this evening. at mid afternoon a
broad ridge of surface high pressure extended from central oklahoma
toward eastern kansas. winds were generally light and southeasterly
near the ridge. in northwest oklahoma...breezy southerly winds had
developed in response to troughing along the lee of the rockies. it
was warm and very dry throughout the region...with humidity ranging
from 17 to 30 percent. at 330 pm...temperatures were in the lower
and middle 80s...with the warmest readings in northwest oklahoma.
temperatures will hold nearly steady through 6 pm...and then start
to drop...reaching the middle 70s by 8 pm.
