late this evening...low pressure in arkansas continued to move
east...and the pressure gradient had relaxed significantly over
oklahoma and north texas. north to northwest winds had decreased to
between 8 and 15 mph...with few gusts. around the departing storm
system...a deck of overcast clouds at mid levels...persisted east of
a line from stillwater to oklahoma city...to pauls valley and
madill. these clouds will slowly decrease in coverage from west to
east. clear skies are expected to reach shawnee...pauls valley...and
madill by midnight.
in the cloudy areas...temperatures will remain in the upper 30s and
low 40s. farther west...light winds and clear skies will allow
temperatures to drop to the low 30s and upper 20s by midnight.
