the national weather service in memphis tn has issued a
* flood warning for
the mississippi river at caruthersville
* from sunday morning until further notice
* at 08 pm tuesday the stage was...26.2 feet
* minor flooding is forecast
* flood stage is 32.0 feet
* forecast to rise above flood stage by sunday morning and continue
to rise to near 34.0 feet by friday morning. additional rises are
possible thereafter.
* at 35.0 feet...most unprotected farmland near the river and
portions of highway 104 in western dyer county tn is impacted.

the national weather service in memphis tn has issued a
* flood warning for
the mississippi river below osceola
* from early thursday morning until further notice
* at 08 pm tuesday the stage was...20.4 feet
* minor flooding is forecast
* flood stage is 28.0 feet
* forecast to rise above flood stage by early thursday morning and
continue to rise to near 29.0 feet by saturday morning. additional
rises are possible thereafter.
* at 29.0 feet...grain barge loading ceases at poinsett rice and
grain terminal at county port road 718 by osceola. crutcher lake
road inside the levee near craighead point is beginning to flood at
a few places.highway 207 is flooded at many places north of cold
creek bridge. crawford road east is flooding at several places. sam
taylor road is flooding at adams bayou. jack rabbit road is
flooded. conner road is inundated.
